Description of service
DiffPeek is a free, browser-based tool that allows you to compare text, code, files, and folders side by side. All processing occurs locally in your browser. No account or payment is required.
Acceptable use
You may use DiffPeek for any lawful purpose, including personal, educational, and commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use DiffPeek to compare or process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download content from DiffPeek
- Use automated tools to generate excessive requests that degrade service for other users
- Misrepresent the origin or ownership of DiffPeek
Intellectual property
The DiffPeek name, logo, design, and source code are owned by DiffPeek. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without written permission. The underlying diff algorithms are based on well-known computer science techniques and are not proprietary.
No warranty
DiffPeek is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that diff results will be 100% accurate for every use case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiffPeek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss or incorrect diff results.
Advertisements
DiffPeek may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or other advertising networks. These ads are provided by third parties and are subject to their respective terms and policies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of DiffPeek after changes means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
